Membuat Instance Server VPS Debian 9 di AWS Amazon
Mungkin beberapa dari kita ingin belajar cara mengelola server sendiri. Sebelum mengelola server tentunya langkah pertama adalah membuat server terlebih dahulu dan mungkin ada yang bingung membuat server karena tiap penyedia layanan, cara pembuatan instance akan berbeda. Disini penulis ingin berbagi pengalaman cara membuat VPS dengan Sistem Operasi Debian 9 di AWS Amazon.
AWS Amazon sendiri merupakan salahsatu penyedia cloud yang paling bagus dengan fitur yang lengkap dan salahsatu pioneer pada layanan cloud computing.
Langsung saja langkah-langkahnya adalah :
- Buka halaman https://aws.amazon.com/console/ pada pojok kanan atas pilih "Sign In to the Console"
- Setelah login, pilih lokasi server yang diinginkan. disini penulis memilih Singapura dengan alasan infrastruktur internet yang bagus, dekat ke Indonesia dan terkenal cepat koneksi internasionalnya.
- Pada bagian AWS Services, pilih EC2, maka akan tampil halaman baru
- Scroll kebawah, kemudian pilih "Launch Instance" lalu muncul jendela pemilihan OS
- Disini merupakan langkah untuk memilih OS dari server yang akan kita buat, ketik debian lalu pada "AWS Marketplace" pilih Select pada Debian 9 yang mempunyai codename stretch, atau disesuaikan jika pembaca ingin menggunakan OS lain
- Selanjutnya adalah pemilihan CPU dan RAM dari server. Karena penulis menggunakan free tier maka diutamakan menggunakan t2.micro dengan spesifikasi single core, 1GB ram dan performa jaringan bervariasi kadang rendah atau lumayan. Setelah itu kita bisa klik Review and Launch.
- Kita dapat melihat spesifikasi singkat dari server yang kita buat. Bagian Security group dapat dilihat bahwa kita menggunakan ssh dengan port 22 sebagai jalur remot server. Pada bagian storage besar disk yang dimiliki sebesar 8GB dan itu cukup sudah lebih cukup, namun jika teman merasa kurang dapat memperbesar ukuran dengan cara klik add storage di bagian atas lalu masukan besar storage yang diinginkan. Kemudian klik Launch
- Selanjutnya adalah pembuatan key pair, ketik nama key, disini penulis menggunakan nama triospc_01 lalu klik Download pair key. Penting: key ini nanti digunakan untuk mendapat privat key digunakan untuk login sehingga jangan sampai hilang karena key pair hanya didapatkan ketika proses sekarang saja. Jika sudah lalu pilih Launch Instance
- Setelah itu muncul jendela Launch Status, scroll kebawah lalu pojok kanan bawah klik view Instances
- Pada bagian description gambar terlihat alamat ip dari server yang kita buat, bagian monitoring terlihat resource yang digunakan server
- Selesai, kita sudah membuat server dengan OS debian 9.
